After her oxygen dropped to a dangerous level, Ramona required a ventilator for breathing support and a feeding tube. At Kindred Hospital she began therapy while she weaned from the ventilator. After making tremendous progress, she discharged to a rehabilitation hospital.

"I’ve been told I’m a miracle". Just 24 hours after her husband passed away, Marilyn was hospitalized with a spinal abscess. At Kindred, she was weaned from the ventilator and made steady progress toward mobility and independence.

Randy experienced serious stomach pain that required surgery. After the surgical site became infected and his conditions worsened, he was transferred to Kindred Hospital where he was healed and rehabilitated to the point that he could discharge home.

John went to the hospital with antiphospholipid syndrome, and respiratory and kidney failure. He had no feeling in his arms or legs. He came to Kindred not able to move, with a tracheostomy, on a ventilator, a feeding tube, and on dialysis. They were aggressive with treatment, and started weaning him from the vent. The intermittent care team put him through rehab, dialysis and respiratory care.
