Kindred Hospital Greensboro is a 101-bed long-term acute care hospital treating chronically, critically ill patients who require an extended stay in a hospital setting with individualized care plans. We offer a 6-bed ICU and seven negative pressure rooms. We are accessible via I-85 expressway, nestled between Clinton Heights and Lincoln Heights Neighborhoods for your convenience.
Patients come to our hospitals with serious conditions such as respiratory failure, complex wounds, sepsis, stroke, congestive heart failure, or even a combination of these. Their diagnoses are often complicated by existing health problems like diabetes or COPD. Many of our patients require treatments such as mechanical ventilators, dialysis, or IV therapy.
Our Kindred Hospital – Greensboro – Subacute Unit is located within Kindred Hospital – Greensboro on the third floor.
Treatment within our 23-bed Subacute Unit may be right for you or a loved one if you require short-term comprehensive inpatient medical care and rehabilitation. Most often, we care for those with a short-term illness, injury or worsening disease who do not need the medical care provided in a hospital but are not yet healthy enough to return home.
