Michael's Success Story

Happy patient leaving hospital with caregivers

"The toughest part of my journey is over, thanks to this staff.”
- Michael

From Kindred Hospital Philadelphia

Michael arrived at Kindred Hospital Philadelphia from Abington Hospital with significant challenges. Dependent on a ventilator and a PEG tube, he required comprehensive and aggressive physical,  occupational, and respiratory therapy, along with dedicated nursing care.

Through the unwavering commitment and expertise of our multidisciplinary team, Michael's condition began to improve. He was successfully weaned off the ventilator and the PEG tube, a testament to his resilience and the exceptional care provided.

Today, Michael is on his way to an acute rehab facility, ready for the next phase of his recovery. His journey is a powerful reminder of the profound impact specialized care can have on our patients' lives.

Care for Complex Conditions

Patients come to our hospitals with serious conditions such as respiratory failure, complex wounds, sepsis, stroke, congestive heart failure, or even a combination of these. Their diagnoses are often complicated by existing health problems like diabetes or COPD. Many of our patients require treatments such as mechanical ventilators, dialysis, or IV therapy.
