Kindred Hospital Brea helps patients return to the lives they love.
At our 48-bed hospital, our physician-led care teams provide critically ill patients with the specialized acute care and rehabilitation they need, for the time they need it - empowering them to take the next step in their recovery journey. We also offer a 4-bed ICU and three negative pressure rooms to accommodate particularly serious conditions.
We are located less than a mile north of Brea Junior High School and conveniently surrounded by restaurants and shops.
Patients come to our hospitals with serious conditions such as respiratory failure, complex wounds, sepsis, stroke, congestive heart failure, or even a combination of these. Their diagnoses are often complicated by existing health problems like diabetes or COPD. Many of our patients require treatments such as mechanical ventilators, dialysis, or IV therapy.
Our Kindred Hospital – Brea – Subacute Unit is located within Kindred Hospital – Brea just inside the main entrance of the building and to the left.
Treatment within our 38-bed Subacute Unit may be right for you or a loved one if you require short-term comprehensive inpatient medical care and rehabilitation. Most often, we care for those with a short-term illness, injury or worsening disease who do not need the medical care provided in a hospital but are not yet healthy enough to return home.
